We had a dream. We had our passion to make impossible things become possible. We can build what we want to build!
We are, Katherine and Dawn. We were born and grew up in a small town in Vietnam. In November 1991, Dawn came to America with her family, her parents, and her sister. In December 1991, Katherine came to America with her family: her parents, two sisters, and brother. We are cousin, who came to America with nothing in our hands. As we remembered, ten of us were living in the converted garage of Dawn's father friend's house, which had no air conditioning, nor heating. it was just a garage divided into two tiny rooms. Each family shared one room, which barely enough space to lay an old queen size mattress. It was the coldest winter of our lives. We were shilvering all day long and didn't know what to do. Everything was so strange to us. We had no money, we had no English. What are we going to do? The question was in our minds, and it grew into our dream. We dreamed of having a better place to live. We dreamed of building our own workplace, where we can put our ideas into reality. and so, we had been working so hard to make our dream come true. We went to school and working at the same time. We both completed our bachelor's degrees in microbiology and finance. We advanced ourselves in studied ultrasound and nursing programs. Since we both working as nail technicians as our main source of income to support our living and education. It became our passion to grow into the beauty industry where we can combine the medical knowledge into the nails salon, such as safety, sanitation, and clients care
KD Galaxy Nails and Spa is where we put our dream and passion into reality. It is the next level of the traditional beauty salon. We understand that safety and sanitation are key to your peace of mind. Our implements are medically sterilized and disinfected after each use. Buffers and files are used only once then discarded. All pedicure procedures are done with liner protection. And above all, staffs are trained to follow a proper sanitation protocol that puts clients hygiene as the number one priority.
